Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for using Nexlansa.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and disputes are handled between Clients, Freelancers, and Novogenix Tech Solutions LLP (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By using the Platform or making payments through Nexlansa, you agree to the terms of this policy.


1. Overview

Nexlansa is an online freelance marketplace connecting Clients and Freelancers.
All transactions, project contracts, and deliverables are managed through the Nexlansa platform to ensure transparency, safety, and fairness for both parties.

⚠️ Note: Nexlansa does not guarantee refunds for payments or transactions made outside the official platform or without Nexlansa’s written confirmation.


2. Cancellation Policy

For Clients

  • A Client may cancel a project before the Freelancer has started work, provided no milestone payment has been released.
  • If a project is cancelled midway, Nexlansa may release partial payment to the Freelancer for completed portions of work.
  • Once the final deliverables are approved or downloaded, no cancellation or refund will be allowed.

For Freelancers

  • Freelancers must not cancel projects after accepting milestones unless due to valid reasons (e.g., Client inactivity or major scope change).
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to account suspension or loss of eligibility for future projects.

For Nexlansa

  • Nexlansa reserves the right to cancel transactions suspected of fraud, payment manipulation, or policy violations.
  • In such cases, payments may be temporarily withheld until verification is complete.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only considered under the following circumstances:

  1. Duplicate or incorrect payment due to technical error.
  2. Freelancer fails to deliver work within the agreed timeline and does not respond to Client or Nexlansa communication.
  3. Project cancelled by Nexlansa due to verified policy violation or fraudulent activity.

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Change of mind after project start.
  • Work already delivered or approved by the Client.
  • Payments made directly to Freelancers outside the platform.
  • Dissatisfaction caused by unclear or changing requirements.

4. Refund Process

To request a refund, email support@nexlansa.com within 7 days of the payment date.
Your email must include:

  • Project ID
  • Payment reference number
  • Detailed reason for refund

Review Time: Nexlansa will assess and respond within 5–7 business days.
Approved Refunds: Credited to the original payment source within 7–10 working days, subject to your bank or payment provider’s timelines.


5. Payment Disputes

In case of disputes between Clients and Freelancers:

  1. Both parties must attempt resolution through the Nexlansa chat system.
  2. If unresolved, Nexlansa may temporarily hold funds during internal review.
  3. Nexlansa’s final decision will be binding to ensure fairness and prevent misuse.

⚠️ Important:

  • Clients should release payments only after full satisfaction with deliverables.
  • Freelancers should not submit final files until Nexlansa confirms payment clearance.
  • Any off-platform transactions are unprotected and non-refundable.

6. Platform Fees

  • Nexlansa’s service or commission fees are non-refundable, as they cover payment gateway costs, dispute management, and maintenance.
  • Approved refunds will be processed after deducting applicable gateway charges and taxes.

7. Fraud & Policy Violations

Nexlansa reserves the right to:

  • Withhold or cancel payments in case of fraud, misrepresentation, or off-platform activity.
  • Suspend or permanently ban users found violating platform rules.
  • Deny refunds if either party breaches Terms & Conditions or Fair Use Policy.

8. Technical or Payment Failures

In case of:

  • Double deduction
  • Failed payment
  • Transaction timeout

Please contact support@nexlansa.com immediately with:

  • Screenshot of the issue
  • Payment ID
  • Date and time of transaction

Nexlansa will coordinate with the payment gateway to verify and process corrections or refunds as appropriate.

Always complete all transactions within the Nexlansa platform for security and payment protection.
Payments made outside Nexlansa are not traceable, refundable, or protected by our system.
